  • Kensington Park Hotel

    Colonial style
Guests in this hotel in the Spanish colonial style feel as if they have been personally invited to stay with one of the city’s long-established families. • The Huntington (Hotel & Nob Hill Spa)

    Popular
One of the city’s most popular hotels. The Georgian-style establishment, built in 1924, is right at the top of Nob Hill, close to the Financial District and Chinatown, and is a stylish classic with a business centre and chauffeur service. The hotel’s Nob Hill Spa, built in accordance with the principles of feng shui, with a generous infinity pool, Ayurveda treatments and a champagne facial, is almost more famous that the hotel itself.

  • Intercontinental Mark Hopkins

    Best views
The Mark Hopkins is named after one of the co-founders of the Central Pacific Railroad. In the 1870s, the railway baron built his private villa right at the top of Nob Hill, from where he had the finest views of the city. The mansion was completely destroyed by the raging fires that followed the major earthquake of 1906. It was rebuilt in the same spot 20 years later, and is now a luxury hotel that appeals for its discreet, classic interior and service.

  • St. Regis Hotel

    Top
The St. Regis of San Francisco always makes it onto the US travel magazine lists of top hotels. Why? Its extraordinarily high standards of service. Unlike its traditional name, the interior is light and modern, almost minimalist. The hotel is equally popular with business travellers and art lovers. The Financial District and the Museum of Modern Art are just around the corner. Another plus point is the luxurious indulgence of the all-white Remède Spa.

  • Hotel Vitale

    Spectacular views
The Vitale’s location on the Embarcadero Waterfront is simply spectacular, the views of the San Francisco Bay breathtaking, especially from the spa, from the yoga studio on the top floor and from the terrace with loungers. The hotel is furnished in the warm, minimalist California style – wood, natural stone, shades of beige and earth radiate a Zen-like peace. The Vitale is certified by the «California Green Lodging Program».

  • Vertigo

    Inexpensive
The Personality hotel group built the Vertigo with guests with a small budget and a huge passion for design in mind. The interior of this central hotel is based on the style of the New York designer Jonathan Adler, so is committed to anti-minimalism with a tremendous passion for detail. And yet everything is light and functional, and nothing is overdone. The service is pared-down and friendly. And that’s quite enough.

  • Clift

    Design hotel
The sophisticated Philippe Starck design in grey, ivory and lavender stands in the traditional Tenderloin quarter like an anti-statement, and is just the thing for lovers of design hotels who value an unmissable «hip» factor. The lounge in the historic Redwood Room is particularly attractive – and the meeting place for the city’s jeunesse dorée. Located close to the shopping district at Union Square.
