    • Montefiore

      Place to be
Small, stylish, and very, very much in demand. Although the Montefiore is not on the beach, it is right at the centre of the city, in the White City with its Bauhaus buildings. The three-storey hotel with Italian flair was built in 1922, and current owner Mati Broudo has made it the place to be in Tel Aviv. However, this practised host has not only created a charming boutique hotel with enchanting rooms with interesting contemporary art on the walls, but also one of the best restaurants in the city.

    • Cinema

This Bauhaus-style building was once home to one of the first and most popular cinemas in the city. Beautifully restored, it is now one of the top hotels in Tel Aviv. The Cinema with the original spiral staircase, the roof terrace and the modern, simply furnished rooms also appeals with its large number of cinematic souvenirs. Antique movie projectors adorn the Art Deco lobby, where old films are screened and famous movie posters decorate the walls of the dining room.
