Nobody knows the SWISS destinations better than our staff. A restaurant that is not listed in every travel guide, an original bar, a charming café, or great tours with spectacular lookout points. Let our travel professionals inspire you with their tips.

The best time I had in Shanghai was the several hours I spent looking around an enormous department store that sells hotel and restaurant equipment. Its three floors sell just about everything you could need in the kitchen. It has simply everything, from woks that serve 20 and meat grinders to chopstick dispensers – all in charming, old-fashioned designs and at unbeatable prices. If my dream of having my own noodle soup restaurant ever comes true, this is where I’ll be coming to stock up.

It’s not easy to find your way to the T8, a trendy restaurant in the middle of Xintiandi/Shanghai. It’s best to ask the concierge to write the name of the hotel down for you in Chinese. The best way to describe the interior is probably as ‘cool chic’. Wood and muted light help to create a place of well-being and relaxation. You will want to stay to explore all the various aromas and let them work their magic on you. The dishes are a unique experience and made from fresh, top quality ingredients that are transformed into familiar and unfamiliar variations. Excellent wine list – it’s well worth trying lesser known bottles. Highly attentive service!
