Nobody knows the SWISS destinations better than our staff. A restaurant that is not listed in every travel guide, an original bar, a charming café, or great tours with spectacular lookout points. Let our travel professionals inspire you with their tips

This restaurant made its name with its "petit gâteau" dessert, which is a tiny cake containing an ice cream on a stick. The main courses are also worthy of note, however. Because the restaurant has recently earned itself such a cult status, another branch has opened on the doorstep, as well as branches in other Brazilian cities and in Miami.

The restaurant Spot is a small but fine establishment on a side street of the famous Avenida Paulista. Besides meat from the grill, this trendy restaurant also serves a wide selection of fresh salads and pasta dishes. With its garden seats, the Spot is also the ideal place to simply enjoy a Caipirinha.

In the mornings I like to stroll across the Mercado Municipal near the São Bento metro station. Their fruit selection is fantastic and the market halls with lead-glass windows are truly worth seeing. To keep up your energy throughout the day, I recommend getting a fresh-pressed juice and a pão de queijo (a cheese ball) in a lanchonete (a snack bar with waiters), which can be found on any street corner.

Art lovers should make sure to visit the Parque da Luz. The «Park of Light» features a great many sculptures by contemporary artists. You'll also find the Pinacoteca do Estado, the state art gallery, here in the park.

I really enjoy going to the Ibirapuere park in the district of Vila Mariana. The park isn't just a beautiful place to enjoy the sun and take a walk. More importantly, it's also a centre of culture where there is much to discover. The MAC (Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Universidade São Paulo) giving the park another museum. Entry is free, and from the roof of the building you have a wonderful view of the park and part of the city.

For me, the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in São Paulo is the «Praça Pôr do Sol». It's a small park on a hill in the district of Pinheiros. You can enjoy the absolutely beautiful view over the entire city while having a picnic, and you can stay until the sun slowly sets behind the city's skyscrapers. You can also watch the planes as they approach to land at the Congonhas airport, another highlight for all those who enjoy flying.
