Helsinki Airport is located in Vantaa, 17km north of Helsinki city centre and it is the main international airport of Finland.

    All SWISS flights depart from Terminal 1. Our check-in desks, handled by Swissport, are located on rows 106 to 109 and open 2 hours before departure. There are separate check-in counters for SWISS Business passengers. The latest check-in time at Helsinki Airport is 30 minutes before departure for Business Class passengers and 40 minutes before departure for Economy Class passengers. The SWISS ticket desk, also handled by Swissport, is located in Terminal 1 as well.

Bus:There is a regular bus service provided by the bus line 615 to and from the Helsinki Central railway station. The operator of these services is the Helsinki Regional Transport Authority. A direct coach service by Finnair is also available to and from the city centre. The bus ride takes about 30 to 50 minutes.

Train:The train connection between Helsinki city centre and Helsinki Airport was opened in July 2015. The Ring Rail Line railway serves local commuter trains running at 10-minute intervals at peak periods. The trip from the underground station, near the current airport terminal building, to Helsinki Central station takes about 30 minutes and costs 5 euros.

Car:Helsinki Airport is located in Vantaa, about 17 kilometers from the centre of Helsinki. Follow the road signs to get to the airport.

Taxi:A journey by taxi from the airport to the centre of Helsinki takes about 30 minutes and costs around 45 to 50 euros. The taxi stands are located right outside the arrival areas of the terminals.
