In the centre of Frankfurt are the European Central Bank, the Bundesbank, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and many global companies. The best way to reach the city centre from Frankfurt airport is by train. The journey takes only 10 minutes and every 10-15 minutes. The Frankfurt exhibition grounds are also not far from the main railway station.
Frankfurt may be an international city, but it also has a strong identity of its own. Since the 14th century, the Dippemess Fair has been taking place twice a year in the east of the city. It consists mainly of amusement park rides. Try the local apple wine, which can be found in many Frankfurt bars.
