Prague is the epitome of Central Europe, with its cobbled streets and gothic cathedral. Perhaps the most charming place is the old town square, location of the medieval town hall where a large astrological clock rings carillon and hourly processions of small figures are held. To cap it all, a human trumpeter plays a fanfare from a window.
Beer is definitely something you can experience in this Central European city. Czech Pilsner is probably the most influential beer style in the world, but there is nothing better than trying it at its source in one of the many beautiful old cellars and pubs, many with their own breweries.
