The beautifully restored old town of Warsaw is a great place to explore on foot. Walking through the cobbled streets and squares, you will discover geometrically patterned houses, picturesque door, covered bridges connecting buildings and many pleasant cafés and restaurants. You can also visit part of the city walls and the 18th-century castle.
The history of the twentieth-century is omnipresent in Warsaw. The Uprising Museum, with its breathtaking multimedia exhibits, brings the war experiences of the city to life. Warsaw’s skyline is dominated by the Palace of Culture, built on Stalin’s orders. From the viewing platform you have a wonderful view of the city.
