There is so much great architecture in Barcelona that it can be a good idea to join a guided tour and to know some of the highlights. Gaudi’s floating, undulating Sagrada Familia Basilica is the most well-known landmark building, but don't miss Frank Gehry’s Fish. It really has a large, glittering fish on the roof.
After a tour of Barcelona’s architecture, you will probably need to refuel by visiting some of the city’s traditional tapas bars in the Gothic Quarter. Barcelona tapas is strong on seafood dishes, served simply in oil and spices, sometimes with a tomato salad. Matured sausages are also traditional.
