The Museo Picasso Málaga preserves ancient and modern treasures associated with the city. During the renovation of the building, various artefacts were uncovered, and the basement has now been given to an archaeological museum. Among the exhibits are the remains of a Phoenician city wall. The upper floors contain more than 200 works by the great artist.
For most people, it is the promise of sea and sand that draws them to Málaga. The immediate area of the city has 14km of beautiful beaches. Within the city, the beaches are lined with cafés and bars and have a lively atmosphere. But when you leave the city, you will find charming, secluded little bays.
