Chicago has an impressive skyline. The 108-storey Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) rises to 442 m and has a spectacular observation deck with a glass overhang that visitors can stand on.
But not all of Chicago’s iconic architecture is high rise. There are many little modern masterpieces by Chicago architect Frank Lloyd Wright to discover. Another of Chicago’s best features is its diverse neighborhoods, including Indian, Italian, Polish, Chinese and Swedish communities, as well as others. Visit and enjoy the food, arts and culture. Don’t miss the Italian celebration of St Anthony’s Day in August, with its processions and street food.
