Is it easy to get to and from the airport in Zurich?

Zurich Airport is approximately 10 km (6 miles) from the city center of Zurich, which is easily accessible by airport tram, train and shuttle bus service. The trip from the city center to the airport takes about 10-15 minutes by train, which departs every 5-10 minutes. The journey by streetcar (Line 10) is 35 minutes and 30-40 minutes by airport shuttle bus.

What about public transportation around the city?

The public transportation system in Zurich uses a unified fare plan which means one ticket is valid across all forms of public transportation. Including train, streetcar and bus. Bike rental is an affordable way to see the city at your own pace. There are also ferry services running along the Limmat River.
