Frequently asked questions

Please check our flight status page to see if SWISS Connect is available on your flight. Alternatively, you can find this information under your booking in the SWISS app.

If your aircraft is equipped with SWISS Connect, simply follow these steps:

  1. Put your phone into flight mode
  2. Connect to the “SWISS Connect” Wi-Fi on board
  3. This will automatically open up the SWISS Connect portal

You can pay on board with any major credit card and Apple Pay.

On selected flights, Miles & More members can as well redeem miles to purchase their SWISS Connect packages.

The vouchers are valid for the calendar year of the purchase and the three subsequent calendar years and can only be used once.

If SWISS Connect is not available on your flight, you can redeem your code on the return flight or any other eligible flight within the validity period.  

Alternatively, you can request a refund.

No. Continental vouchers can be used on any continental flight, and intercontinental vouchers on any intercontinental flight. If you don’t activate your code on your initial flight, you can redeem it later. 

The purchase receipt is sent to the email address entered during the purchase process. If you cannot find it, please also check your junk or spam folder.

Currently, you cannot book SWISS Connect Internet access on your long-haul flight in combination with SWISS Connect for a short or medium-haul flight.
