Our first Airbus A350 has arrived!
It’s been just over a week since SWISS’s very first Airbus A350 touched down in Zurich. Let’s take a look back at everything that’s happened.
Last week marked a major milestone for SWISS as its very first Airbus A350 touched down in Zurich on Thursday, 9 October, thrilling the crowds gathered on the airport terrace. The aircraft landed at 15:25 and shortly after docked for the very first time at its new home base, a proud moment for everyone involved. The arrival was also live streamed on our YouTube channel, allowing fans around the world to share in the excitement.

After landing, a proper welcome with a great water salute awaited the SWISS Airbus A350.
The SWISS Management Board and crew members warmly welcomed the Airbus A350 in Zurich!
Just a few days later, on 14 October, the Airbus A350 featuring its special livery SWISS Wanderlust was officially christened Lausanne in a ceremony attended by none other than tennis star Stan Wawrinka.
