On-board medical equipment

Depending on its size, each of our aircraft carries between one and three first-aid kits and an emergency medical kit. While the first-aid kit can be used by the cabin crew, the emergency medical kit is intended for use by medical professionals. Its contents extend far beyond the minima required by law.

All SWISS aircraft are also equipped with AEDs (automated external defibrillator), which can be used in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. Our cabin crews are instructed in their use as part of their annual training.
