  1. Which SWISS aircraft have an individual inflight entertainment system?

    The seats on our long-haul aircraft A330 and A340 have individual screens in all classes. You will find further information on this topic under On-board entertainment.

  2. What films will be shown on board?

    You will find the current entertainment programme on intercontinental flights under On-board entertainment.

  3. On which aircraft can electronic devices be connected to the main power supply?

    Power connections are available in First and Business Class on aircraft types Airbus A330 and Airbus A340. A 2-pole power cable is required on the A340. On A330 all of the seats in all classes are fitted with a USB connection.

  4. Can I use electronic devices such as a laptop, mobile phone or tablet on board?

    Electronic devices and mobile phones with wireless data transmission must either be set to Flight Mode or switched off during take-off, while cruising, when landing and also when taxiing until the aircraft gets to the stand. In exceptional cases, the Captain may issue additional restrictions. For further information on using electronic devices on board, please refer to the SWISS Magazine in your seat pocket or ask a member of cabin crew.

  5. Am I allowed to make phone calls while on a SWISS aircraft?

    You may use the telephone services on board the Boeing 777-300ER once the cabin crew have given their permission for you to do so. The prices are decided by your telephone service provider and the operating company Aeromobile. SWISS has no influence over these prices. The use of telephone services is prohibited on all other aircraft types.

  6. Is WiFi available on SWISS flights?

    SWISS offers satellite Internet via WiFi on board the Boeing 777-300ER from an altitude of 10,000 feet. The speed is similar to all public WiFi connections on the ground. There is a charge for this offer. Internet is not currently offered on-board any other aircraft types.
