European flights

SWISS Economy: on flights with a flight time of more than one hour, you can pre-order high-quality, fresh products from the SWISS Saveurs menu online and purchase them on board. When you order online, you'll enjoy a 10% discount on the original onboard price.

SWISS Business: from approx. one hour’s flight time, you can choose your preferred meal before departure on most flights and so benefit from a wider selection. This applies to morning and daytime flights to/from Zurich. On longer flights with a flight time of about two hours or more, we also offer pre-selection for flights to/from Geneva. Departures to Zurich and Geneva early in the morning are generally excluded. Here, we only offer a pre-selection on flights from Oslo, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius.

Long-haul flights

SWISS First: on all long-haul flights from Zurich/Geneva, you'll benefit in SWISS First from an extended range of up to ten main courses by selecting your preferred dish in advance.

SWISS Business: on all long-haul flights from Zurich/Geneva, you'll benefit in SWISS Business from an extended range of up to nine main courses by selecting your preferred dish in advance.

On most long-haul flights to Zurich/Geneva in SWISS Business, you can select your preferred dish in advance and are guaranteed to receive your first choice. This is currently possible on all flights from Bangkok, Boston, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, Newark, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo, Toronto and Washington to Zurich, and from New York to Geneva.

SWISS Premium Economy: on all long-haul flights with SWISS Premium Economy from Zurich, you can select your preferred dish in advance and are guaranteed to receive your first choice.

The discount is automatically deducted from the total price when you pay on board. The final price corresponds to the amount displayed when ordering in the SWISS Culinary Journey.

European flights

SWISS Economy: guests can pre-order fresh products from Sprüngli from the SWISS Saveurs menu. Beverages and snacks (e.g. crisps) can be purchased directly on board.

SWISS Business: when travelling from/to Zurich, you'll benefit from an extended selection of up to nine main courses if you select your dish in advance. This applies to both early morning flights and flights throughout the day.

On short-haul flights to/from Geneva, you'll benefit from an extended selection of up to six main courses, depending on the time of day.

Long-haul flights

In SWISS First on long-haul flights, you'll benefit from an extended selection of up to ten main courses if you select your dish in advance.

In SWISS Business on long-haul flights from Zurich and Geneva, you'll benefit from an extended selection of up to nine main courses if you select your dish in advance. On flights to Zurich/Geneva, you'll benefit from the guarantee of your desired dish from the regular menu options.

In SWISS Premium Economy on long-haul flights from Zurich and Geneva, you'll benefit from the guarantee of your desired dish from the regular menu options.

European flights

SWISS Economy: you can order your preferred meal for your SWISS Economy European flight between six weeks and 36 hours before departure, depending on the flight.

SWISS Business: you can select your preferred main course in advance on SWISS Business European flights between six weeks and 24 hours before departure.

Long-haul flights

On long-haul flights, you can choose your desired dish between six weeks and up to 24 hours before departure, in all travel classes where pre-order is available.

To display your flights, please enter your given name, last name, booking code or ticket number. For those flights for which selection is possible, you can then choose from the available products. In addition, you can simply click on “Food” in the SWISS app when booking, which links you directly to the offer page.

On short-haul flights, you can pre-order up to five products in SWISS Economy. In SWISS Business on short-haul flights, as well as in SWISS First, SWISS Business and SWISS Premium Economy on long-haul flights, you can select your warm main course for the first meal service on board.

In SWISS Economy, you can choose up to five products to share on board with your travel companions. In SWISS Business on short-haul flights, as well as in SWISS First, SWISS Business and SWISS Premium Economy on long-haul flights, the main course must be selected individually for all travellers.

You will receive your products on board your flight during the regular service.

Unfortunately, pre-ordering offers (product packages) is not possible. You can purchase additional products on board, such as drinks, along with your pre-ordered products to take advantage of the offers on the menu. The associated discounts are automatically deducted when you pay.

Payment is made during the in-flight service on board. Contactless payment is only possible with Visa, Mastercard and AMEX, as well as Apple and Google Pay. Cash payments are not accepted.

Your selected hot main course, as well as the pre-order, are free of charge.

Special meals are not usually offered on short-haul flights in SWISS Economy. However, the SWISS Saveurs menu offers you a wide range of products, which includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten- and lactose-free options, for example.

We also always offer vegetarian options on long-haul flights in all classes and on European flights in SWISS Business, in the regular menu and, if you want to be on the safe side, by pre-ordering. If you need a special meal for dietary, religious or health reasons, you must order it directly when you book your flight ticket. At a later date, ordering will only be possible via customer service or within SWISS Culinary Journey. If you have ordered a special meal, you will always receive it instead of the selection you have made on this website.

On European flights in SWISS Business with a flight time of 50 minutes or more, you can order a special meal directly when booking or subsequently through customer service or within SWISS Culinary Journey.

The information on allergens provided online is for guidance only. Due to possible short-term recipe changes or substitutions, variations in the allergens contained may occur.

There are several reasons pre-ordering for some flights might be prevented. The most common ones are:

• Your flight is not operated by SWISS.
• For flights in SWISS Economy to certain destinations, such as Tel Aviv, it is not possible to pre-order.
• The order window may not yet be open or has already closed: you can order your preferred meal for your SWISS Economy European flight from six weeks and up to 36 hours before departure, depending on the flight. For your SWISS Business short-haul flight, you have the option of pre-ordering your hot main course from six weeks and up to 24 hours before departure. On long-haul flights, you can select your meal from six weeks and up to 24 hours before departure.
• The maximum loading capacity on a flight has already been reached, so no further products can be ordered.

Yes, you can still purchase a wide variety of products directly on board, subject to their availability. On flights with a flight time of more than one hour, a wide range of high-quality fresh produce, snacks and drinks are available. For flight times of approximately two hours or more, our extended SWISS Saveurs menu is also available, with two hot main courses. To ensure that your favourite product is on board, we recommend that you select and reserve your desired meal in advance.

If you rebook your flight, the pre-order must be made again. You can still purchase products directly on board (depending on availability) on short-haul flights in SWISS Economy. On long-haul flights in SWISS First, SWISS Business and SWISS Premium Economy, you always choose a main meal from the onboard menu, subject to availability. You can also cancel your existing selection and pre-order for your new flight up to 30 hours before departure for short-haul flights in SWISS Economy and up to 24 hours before departure (for short-haul flights in SWISS Business and long-haul flights in SWISS First, SWISS Business and SWISS Premium Economy).
