Swiss made since 1935
When it comes to Swiss skiing, Stöckli Swiss Sports AG is impossible to overlook. Since 1935, Stöckli skis have been manufactured in Malters, in the heart of Switzerland. Today, the family-owned company develops and produces skis for a wide range of needs, from performance-oriented piste skis to World Cup racing skis. Every single ski goes through around 140 production steps in the company’s own manufacturing facility. Precision, experience, and extensive craftsmanship continue to shape the production process to this day. What began in a small workshop in 1935 has grown into an internationally successful brand. More than 60 percent of the company’s annual ski production is now exported to over 40 countries worldwide. All skis are developed and manufactured in Switzerland.
At Stöckli, racing and product development go hand in hand. Insights gained from World Cup competition through top athletes such as five-time overall World Cup champion Marco Odermatt are continuously incorporated into the development of new skis and technologies. At the same time, the racing skis used by Stöckli athletes are produced in the very same location as the skis sold to customers around the world.
Stöckli applies the same uncompromising commitment to quality to its apparel collections. The clothing is developed in Switzerland and manufactured exclusively in carefully selected production facilities across Europe. More than 20 years of expertise go into Stöckli textiles, and every item is hand-sketched and designed from the ground up by a small team at the company’s headquarters.
Beginning this winter season, the SWISS Snow Team will also wear Stöckli’s Montero apparel collection. The Montero line was developed for long days on the slopes and changing mountain conditions. Premium materials and functional designs provide weather protection, freedom of movement, and exceptional comfort.
When selecting a new team apparel partner, functionality was only one factor for the SWISS Snow Team. The brand and its values were equally important. The team was looking for a partner that aligned with both its identity and that of SWISS. In Stöckli, it found a Swiss brand that has stood for high-quality skis, functional apparel, and a close connection to snow sports for decades. At the same time, both companies share strong Swiss roots, an international outlook, and a passion for winter sports.
The new apparel will be worn at events including the World Airlines Ski Championships, known as WASC. Each year, employees from international airlines gather to compete in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding. The SWISS Snow Team has been among the most successful teams for years. Following its first Team World Championship title in 2020, the team went on to win additional titles in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Stöckli's commitment to the snow sports of today and tomorrow
While the SWISS Snow Team competes for medals at the WASC, the next major event in Swiss skiing is already on the horizon. From February 1 to 14, 2027, the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will return to Crans-Montana. As Official Ski Partner, Stöckli will play an active role in the home World Championships.
The World Championships in Crans-Montana will bring international ski racing back to Switzerland in 2027, right to the place where Stöckli is at home. With athletes such as Marco Odermatt and Alexis Monney, Stöckli will be represented on the race course. At the same time, supporting the next generation of Swiss skiers is a key component of the partnership.
For 2027, a special World Championships edition of the Laser WRT Pro is planned. For every pair sold, CHF 400 will be donated directly to Swiss-Ski’s youth development programs.
